Our strategy was to set an flavor expectation for the product even before the bottle was opened, and to create a package that sells itself not only in Chicago, but everywhere in the world. And sell it has, flying off the shelf faster than they can produce it since day one, making FEW Spirits one of the top startup liquor brands of the last ten years.

Assignment: Review and challenge the brand's attributes that were proposed by the package design agency. Challenge we did, and we went on to create the voice for the consumer with the website as first execution.
The brothers, Smylie - there are five of them - needed a brand for their brew pub gastro restaurant that matched their passion for fun, friendship and adventure, as well as good beer and good food. After listening to their stories over some smoked brisket and their delicious beer, we built the brand around the idea that everything is just a little better those last days of summer.
After sampling through a so-called competitive set that tasted like it was made in a science lab, our brand and packaging strategy was made simple, to let high-quality ingredients do the talking about the goodness inside.
Portland Sangria is the brainchild of Ryan Sharp, the winemaker at Enso winery in Portland. We workshopped the brand positioning with his team and collaborated with designer, Henry Jinings to develop the packaging.
We created the consumer narrative component of Kernel Season's re-brand, and executed their new e-commerce website with "real time" Sage X3 integration. This website gets the consumer engaged while it showcases new product innovation by Kernel Season's CEO, Scott Lerner, and the packaging redesign (by our friends at Seedhouse in Chicago).
Start-up, Solixir needed a sales boost, so we shifted their marketing strategy away from "fitness" & Whole Foods, to the "work" & C-stores. A mental bridge connects the formulas to how you are feeling at the moment, with Solixir as a curative. This insight is the concept for the campaign that blanketed the Chicago loop with "big brand" outdoor advertising, street teams, zombie actors, and coordinated PR. It worked, C-Store velocities far exceeded expectations, and Solixir was purchased by Eternal Water.
Old Line Spirits is a craft distillery located in Baltimore's Fells Point neighborhood, offering three variations of American Single Malt Whiskey and Aged Caribbean Rum—all delicious. Founded by former Navel Aviators, Mark McLaughlin and Arch Watkins, Old Line Spirits is the embodiment their values and work ethic, thus inspiring us to fashion a brand persona that would stand tall over the competition. Bravo Zulu!
Objective: Move the client away from the crowded and hyper competitive corporate rehabilitation market to be identified by the elite professional and affluent weekend warrior, thus Reavy Rehab became React Physical Therapy. We executed the brand across every consumer touchpoint to include digital, advertising, apparel, and environmental to differentiate them to be self-selecting to the target clients.
When we met the founder, Jeff Walsh, we quickly discovered that he is making the world's most delicious gin, so it become our mandate to create a brand worthy of this product. Goodbye Windy City Distilling and we'd like to introduce you to Oppidan, "for the modern townsman." We have a great case study of the development of this brand to share with qualified parties.
Objective: Create an effective brand for a tiny company whose client demographic aligns with mega blockbuster brands like Nike, Under Armour and Adidas. We based it on the insight that TCBOOST was not about "survival of the fittest, or the last man standing, or the point of impact", rather that staying healthy and incremental improvement that is is measured in 1/10's of seconds is the true game changer.
